Investor interest stems from the fact that this is a
dynamically growing sector, which can —as
already shown— attract investment capital and
utilize the advantages inherent in Greece’s
geostrategic position. As a matter of fact, recent
developments —on both the institutional and
investment levels— provide further impetus to the

since the reduction of a firm’s operating
costs leads to reduced product prices,
with positive effects on inflation and the
Consumer Price Index. For entrepreneurs, the
sector does not offer only operational improve-
ments and cost-cutting opportunities, but new
business prospects as well.
