●The operation of the National e-Procurement
System (ESIDIS), at
which introduces, for the first time, electronic
procedures in all stages of a tender (e.g. elec-
tronic publication of invitations to tender, elec-

The first pilot tender, concerning the purchase
of a generator for the General Secretariat for
Commerce, took place in late 2013.
ESIDIS is the second stage of the moderniza-
tion of the government procurement system,
following the establishment of the Central
Electronic Public Contracts Register (“Agora”)
and the posting of public contracts on the
Internet.
