          transport infrastructure and services –from pub-
        
        
          lic transport to the logistics/supply chain– and
        
        
          creating opportunities for land use and activity
        
        
          reallocation.
        
        
          ●Developing innovative transport systems and
        
        
          enhancing research activity in the transport
        
        
          sector, with special interest on railways.
        
        
          ●Commitment to passenger-centred services and
        
        
          the promotion of a culture of passenger rights.
        
        
          ●Promoting urban mobility and clean transport.
        
        
          According to this prioritization and to the
        
        
          Commission’s Working Programme, the Greek
        
        
          presidency will deal indicatively with the following
        
        
          files:
        
        
          ●Rail: ERA Regulation, 4th Railway Package –
        
        
          Political Part, Shift2Rail Initiative.
        
        
          ●Road: Vehicle’s weights and dimensions, Ecall
        
        
          (Political Part).
        
        
          ●Air: Air transport package – noise, passengers’
        
        
          rights.
        
        
          ●Intermodal/Horizontal Issues: alternative fuels,
        
        
          urban mobility and other issues of general inter-
        
        
          est for transport policy.
        
        
          Global interest on Information and Communication
        
        
          Technologies (ICT) will drive the focus on the
        
        
          telecommunications sector and on issues ranging
        
        
          from the digital agenda to the deploy-
        
        
          ment/expansion of broadband networks and the
        
        
          prospects for low-cost broadband services and the
        
        
          possibilities for a single telecom market in EU.
        
        
          Special attention is placed on safety issues, and
        
        
          cyber security emerges as top priority for EU and
        
        
          the Greek presidency. Indicatively, files that are
        
        
          going to attract our interest in the working group of
        
        
          “telecommunication and information society” are:
        
        
          ●European Strategy for Cyber Security
        
        
          ●Single telecoms market
        
        
          ●Web sites access
        
        
          ●Promotion of the common use of spectrum
        
        
          resources in the internal EU market
        
        
          ●Evaluation of the digital agenda
        
        
          With such an inclusive policy agenda, I truly antic-
        
        
          ipate a fruitful and productive presidency. Our aim
        
        
          is to cooperate closely with all European partners
        
        
          and promote far-reaching policies that will benefit
        
        
          all EU member states in the direction of shared
