As regards “Athens International Airport” (AIA),
the company that operates the Athens airport, the
negotiation for the extension of its concession
until 2046 with PSP Investments is underway.
PSP Investments, which currently holds 40% of
the share capital, represents the funded pillar of
Canada’s public pension system. AIA is a dynam-
ically growing and financially robust company.
The aim of HRADF is to maximise the financial
gain for the Greek state, while co-operating with a
valued investor, such as this Canadian fund.
