Asset Development Fund (HRADF) always has a
really difficult job, when they try to implement the
privatisations that have been agreed with the
lenders and voted by each government.
Last year, after the stagnation of 2015, things
seemed to start rolling again.

he governments always agree with the
lenders that the presence of the state in
crucial sectors, such as transports, infra-
structures and energy, has to be reduced, but
they never deliver on time.

Privatisations have been
and still are
the most
controversial issue of the last seven years, during
which the Greek economy has been operating via the
aid of the European Commission, the European
Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund,
and under the memorandums that the Hellenic
Republic
represented by successive governments
has signed with the Troika.
