NIK. KIOLEIDES SA is one of the leading Greek companies in the
manufacture of vehicle super-structures, trailers and truck bodies
and rolling stock, and has been exporting since 1973.
The company specializes in the production of all types of vehicle
super-structures, semi trailer refrigerated vans, heavy duty trailers
for general cargo, tippers, low-bed trailers, water, fuel, wheat,
cement, bitumen and asphalt tankers, flatbed trailers, car trans-
porters, as well as any other kind of conventional or special structure,
related to road transport. It also manufactures railway wagons for the
transport of cargo and passengers, in accordance with International
Standard Regulations.
Owing to their high quality, the company's products are recognizable
and competitive in international markets. The company's production
facilities are housed in a state-of-the-art plant in Industrial Area I of
Volos. It is one of the largest modern industrial complexes. All facili-
ties are supported by cutting-edge machinery and electronic equip-
ment, as well as fully trained personnel. It is worth noting that in the
past two years the company has entered the RES field, having
received certification and manufacturing fixed mount PV panel bases,
and single and dual axis solar trackers. It has also formed partner-
ships with established overseas houses for the construction of wind-turbine towers. The large list of domestic and inter-

PHARMATHEN
Pharmathen was founded in 1969 in Athens, as a private phar-
maceutical company, and initially focused on the development
and marketing of pharmaceuticals, with a strong presence in the
field of generics. It employs 800 people, working in the entire
chain of Research & Development (R&D), production and mar-
keting of pharmaceuticals in more than 85 countries worldwide.
With 3 state-of-the-art research laboratories and 2 manufactur-
ing units, Pharmathen is vertically integrated, from the develop-
ment to the distribution of pharmaceuticals, also holding a domi-
nant position in the global market for generic drugs. The compa-
ny employs more than 130 researchers in its cutting-edge labo-
ratories, investing more than 20 million euros each year in
research for new medicines and technologies.
Moreover, the company recently made a dynamic entry into the
field of brand-name drugs and innovative technologies, by sign-
ing a major agreement with a large multinational regarding a
brand-name product that was developed by Pharmaten's labora-
tories. The competitive advantages of Pharmathen include cost-
efficient R&D and production, as well as value added services.
Recently the company also opened its new manufacturing facility
in Sappes, Rodopi. This is a state-of-the-art plant, designed to comply with all European and American
(FDA) standards, which will cover Pharmathen's increasing productive requirements in forthcoming years,
with the aim of supplying mainly European and American markets with products. Today, Pharmathen’s prod-
ucts are approved in all EU markets, and their distribution rights are granted to the largest pharmaceutical
companies worldwide, particularly in Europe, the United States of America and Canada.
In 2010, Pharmathen's sales stood at 130 million euros.
